a copy of any of our certificates, please click here Quality Spartan Europe Ltd provides a service of product acquisition, storage, packaging and reconsignment, and is an important source of supply to Government and Industry for material and components not readily obtainable at an economic cost from the manufacturers in small quantities with quick delivery. Spartan Europe Ltd acts as a distributor of passive and electro-mechanical products on behalf of a group of specialised manufacturers. Some of these products will be available within the scope of other qualifications such as BS9000, IECQ-CECC and Def-Stan. In addition the company purchases components in order to produce kits of mixed components for its customers. Under the scope of 'Specialist Contractor' Spartan Europe are able to assemble, test (if applicable), inspect and release connectors in accordance with Manufacturers' approvals. This is carried out under the auspices of IEC QC001002-3 Part 3, Clause 5 2005 and CECC 200 024 Issue 1 1997. The Quality Manual defines the documented management system implemented by Spartan Europe Ltd to ensure that all processes within the company are adequately defined and that the measurement techniques applied to ensure continual improvement could be both implemented and monitored. Top Management appreciates that they are the fundamental driving forces in ensuring the effectiveness of the system, and their commitment is reinforced within the Company Quality Policy given in paragraph 5.3 of this manual, (copies of which are displayed throughout the company). The documented quality system consists of this manual together with a series of detailed operating instructions covering aspects such as document control; record keeping; non-conformance control; auditing; corrective and preventive action. Other operating instructions may be added if required. The scope of these procedures will be such as to embrace all areas of the ISO9000-2000 standard with the exception of paragraph 7.3 (Design and Development), which is outside the scope of the activities performed by the company. By definition Spartan Europe are a distributor and stockist of known products and therefore customers will approach the company with the intention of purchasing specific products having previously resolved any design issues. |
