Hypertac connectors in 48 hrs? You must be joking!
It's no joke! Hypertac's range of BS9525 (HPD range) printed circuit board connectors
are available from Spartan Europe in just 48 hours thanks to a strategic alliance
recently formed between the two companies.
The quality and performance of Hypertac connectors has never been in question,
however, it is widely believed that availability has been a barrier to overcome
in the procurement of connectors conforming to industry norms such as BS and
Mil Std.
In order to address this situation, Hypertac has appointed Spartan Europe as
an authorised assembling distributor of a wide range of variations according
to popular demand.
In addition to short leadtimes, Spartan Europe will offer full technical support and after sales service.
The closer relationship will provide Hypertac's customers - particularly those in the Military / Aerospace sectors,
with the high quality product and fast response required for spares and repairs contracts, rapid prototyping and quick turnaround JIT systems.
Military and Aerospace projects are increasingly reliant on Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) components in the quest to drive down costs and time to market.
This represents a supply-chain challenge for manufacturers such as Hypertac as the BS9525 range contains a large number of variations.
